As I go through my fourth year of teaching, I realize how this job has become part of my personality. I've majored in Interior Design in parallel with English Linguistics. I enjoyed designing for I love art and have always enjoyed it. But once I started teaching, I felt that it is incomparable with any other profession. It is very rewarding in a humanistic and personal way (not financial though!).
I can't ever imagine how my life would be doing something else. I enjoy every second of it although it requires a lot of tenacity, effort and hard work. The positive influence I have on my kids wipes all my fatigue away. I will never give it up.
Teaching is fun, but the teacher should love what she teaches so she could be successful. I wish you the best in your career. Keep up the good work :)

ReplyDeleteI've heard many teachers say that they forget their tiredness the moment they realize that they are doing this for their students. A teacher once told me "They're the only reason I'm still working".
I can't wait to start teaching and fall in love with little souls!!

Teaching is not that easy job, it is the job or the work of our hearts. Although we give it all our time and our hard work, we just forget it when we see the positive results on our students.

Deleteit is really nice to see a teacher expressing her love this way, i have only taught for one year and already heard a lot of complains from other teachers about how boring and tiring this job is. But you make it sound so fun and enjoyable, i know it needs a lot of effort to do it. But you are expressing it in a way that makes me relief somehow...
